Isolated distal vaginal hypoplasia and megalourethra in a regularly menstruating female treated by pull through procedure

This case report describes a of isolated (not associated with other anomalies) lower vaginal hypoplasia complicated by megalourethra (urethral dilatation) due to frequent urethral sexual intercourse in regularly menstruating (hypomenorrheic) woman. The patient was 24-year-old woman who underwent transperineal ultrasonography as well magnetic resonance imaging followed sequential cystoscopic and vaginoscopic examinations. Finally, pull-through procedure used create new vagina. main outcome measure patent vagina formation. successfully corrected hypoplasia. postoperative course smooth, the restoration regular correct location. It concluded that all gynecologists should have increased awareness rare female genital anomalies avoid serious sequelae, particularly newly married patients.
